In response to Lost in Translation’s Thursday’s Special: Reflection
* A Note from the Challenger: “Today you are given the most common photo theme: reflection. It’s not difficult to find reflections around us, but maybe this time you could try to capture something you haven’t done before… Look around and challenge yourself! The deadline is next Wednesday.“
Entry 1: The Venice Canals – Venice Trong Lòng Cali
The Venice Canals are man-made canals built in 1905 by developer Abbot Kinney as part of his Venice of America plan. Kinney sought to recreate the appearance and feel of Venice, Italy, in Southern California (wikipedia).
It is located near Venice Beach in Los Angeles, CA. There are several canals and each canal has two or three unique bridges which connect the two sides. There are walkways on both sides of the canals. It is a nice place to have a walk and take photos.
Photographed on April 7, 2014 at six o’clock in the morning.
A beautiful spot to reflect 🙂
